Default I've got a spare cnc machine

So, been doing some cleaning and business developing and this cnc machine has sat pretty well unused, I think maybe it's done 3hrs of work, currently it has a laser scanner fitted to it, going to sort a spindle out for it.

whats the current going rate for these.

this one was built by Tang Taney, who does extremely quality work, all bearings are connected via lubrication lines, quality ridged construction

    thanks

Steve, it's a bit like saying how long is this piece of string. Value is what someone is prepared to pay for it, how urgently you want it out of the shed etc. A bit more info would help, work envelope size X,Y,Z, single or 3 ph, wattage of spindle (when you fit it), what program is required to operate, what goes with it, ie. laser scanner, 50 w spindle. What does it weigh, as this will/could have a bearing on value, if someone from FNQ wanted to buy it, cost of transport would have to be considered. Do you remember what you paid for it?

Hmmm I would be interested if you wanted to part with it, and if so, for how much .............I am in Perth too which would be a bonus.

    I would say 1200x1200 at a guess?

Good point re how longs a length of string.

just started cleaning the workshop up and at home and thought I really will never use this one, as I have the auto tool changing unit.

johno, that's handy, let me first remove the laser scanning unit off and then set it up for Mach 3 with a router or spindle, need to price this stuff up

from memory the unit is 1200 by 1800,

im not after what I paid, but for info I paid 12000 for the laser and 6000 for the machine itself, it's heavy heavy duty
