Setting up Mach3 is easy enough ', on the mach3 web site there is a pdf that runs you through it
You wil need the pin configerations from the manufacture of the "BOX " that drives the stepper motors
What make and modle? What size is it? Is it a china cheepy with the dreaded china motor drivers with no info on how to conect to mach3?
A photo of the controller box is neededhow come a 10mm peg dont fit in a 10mm hole

Thanks for your reply
It is a China machine a "J CUT" with a cutting bed of 1800 x1200
The previous owner was drilling holes in alli flat bar using a G code program on a spread sheet.
I am renovating my home and want to make some round door frames and doors , also a curved wine rack.
I am a Cabinetmaker ( getting on in years ) and have had experience with cnc machines some 15 years ago.
This machine came with an old version of Lazy cam installed, was wondering what is a reasonable cad program that will write G codes.
I will check out the controller box and post a picture.
Many thanks
