    Bob,
I grok it before you grok it even though at the end of the day I didn't grok it at all. A bit like a visually challenged man looking for a black cat in a dark room that isn't really there. Sorry can't help you about the cat or the room not being there or indeed if both aren't there.
    Cheers,
    Rod

(Visually challenged? I assume you mean blind) If the man looking for this cat is blind then neither the blackness of the cat nor the room would have any bearing on the likely outcome of his search. Indeed the factor that limits the likelihood of his successfully completing his search is the size of the room. I put it to you that a room 400mm square would be thoroughly searched in short order no matter what the colour of the cat. Although the problematical existence of the room would affect that search.

Now, I have been looking at prices on 40x40 T-Slot and I don't like the results of my findings. This stuff is bloody expensive. Do you have any directions you could point me?

    Hi Bob,
The black cat thing is an old British Comedy skit updated for political correctness - light hearted comedy that doesn't require a lot of logic.

The aluminium Tslot is expensive and some sellers a lot more than others. Here is a link to some that is reasonably priced. This seller has imported and local stock so be aware there can be a large price variation for the same thing. I am using the imported.
    Cheers,
    Rod

I just found these Gussets made by Parker.
They seem very chunky, indeed. 76 x 76 mm.

Alot cheaper than what I saw on ebay.

    G'day Rod & all,
This is my first post here for many years as I'd drifted off with other projects & its great to see so many familiar names from whom i drew so much knowledge & inspiration from during my build.
I am following this build now drawing further inspiration as i begin a renovation on my old rig & a new build in mind.
    Thanks for sharing Rod.

I dream of having a CNC one day so I'm following along as well.

In my case I'd have to get creative with space to fit it in. Like flip it down from a wall for example.
