Spindle snit itself
Well guys my spindle died bit of a shame I opened it up and found moisture inside so it looks like I need another spindle.
Not sure what caused it all I think it either got past one of the grommets ion the head or another thought is condensation formed due to the cool water I had running through it.
Anyway snit happens.
I remember reading a couple of threads with people that had air cooled spindles how have they been running I want to stay away for the water so am thinking I may go the same way.I like to move it move it, I like to move it.

That is a shame about your spindle. The water cooled one I had, leaked when I first got it.
Now I have a 1.5kw air cooled and I would not choose water cooled again.
Some have a fan fixed to the spindle shaft. Some have a separate electric fan.
Mine has a fixed fan, which when I first saw it, I was disappointed, because I know a lot of the fan cooled ones are noisy.
However this one is not noisy and I am very happy with it. 1.5kw, 80mm body, not the one he normally lists.

Hi Sean,
If you have opened up your spindle can you post pictures or tell us how to pull it apart. I pulled the cap off my water cooled one and couldn't see how to disemble it. As it was brand new I didn't try to go any deeper so it would be good to know this.
I have the 800 watt air cooled spindle with the electrical fan and no problems with it.Cheers,
Rod

Yes I will do that in the next day or two I couldn't get the whole thing apart just the caps on both ends.
I like to move it move it, I like to move it.
