Where can you find grayscale images to use with a cnc machine
I bought a cnc machine a few months ago, since that I've been searching the web to try to find grayscale images that I can download and use with my cnc machine, what I've found is that theres very little available, does anyone here know of any websites where these images can be downloaded. Thanks

Presuming you don't actually want to convert colour images to greyscale and then vectorise the result and would rather have a file that can be opened in a cad package...

Some of those sites have some good stuff, and others have the vector equivalent of the 'three wolf moon' tee-shirt; ok, so a huge quantity of it is 'three wolf moon' stuff.
However, if you do want to go the full picture-vector-cad file approach, just do a google for 'stock photos'; there's thousands upon thousands of stock image sites. Can someone please tell me how to PERMANENTLY turn off that annoying "Automatically retrieve titles from external links" setting! If I don't think the URL by itself is sufficient, I'm perfectly capable of creating a properly formatted hyperlink all by myself.

I have been looking around for sources of 3D height maps and found a couple of places. Many charge a small fee for the download.
Please take a look at cnc4free.org . Goto the 'links' page and under 'Sources - 3D Meshes Reliefs Heightmaps'. Many of the links no longer work but have a look arround to see if there is something of use to you.
