Captain's Chair mechanisms
Could anyone point me toward a "new" or replacement Captain's Chair mechanism?? I have an old chair and the mechanism (rise and fall as well as tilt) is very worn. Any help appreciated

I can't help you I'm afraid, but I hope someone else can as I have a related problem - my father in law gave me his captain's chair, used in his doctor's rooms for decades, but at some point he replaced the base with a 70's typist chair base...
Cheers, Richard

Answering my own question
Further research has led me to this site Office Swivel Chair parts & Bar stool swivel replacement repair parts
Next question: has any forumite had any dealings with this company?? Looks to be reputable and they list AUS as one of their frequent countries of destination.
Hope this is of help to others.
cheers
