    Default Chair plyboard base recovery

001.jpgLooking for advice on what to do with this chair's base. Can I apply iron and if so for how long? I want to start learning to recover damaged play board. Cheers, Nick

I would take it off and apply a new veneer or a whole new seat of your choosing
Those were the droids I was looking for.

I would guess that ply is a cheap repair of an originally caned seat. I seem to remember older ply repair/seats being embossed with Australiana?
