Federation Carver Chair
This chair belonged to my great grandfather and has languished in my shed for twenty years, I finally got around to restoring it last month. I completely pulled every joint apart, re jointed, sanded and hand polished it over about six days. I then set about re upholstering a new seat, my first attempt at upholstery. It has a few dogs teeth marks in the stretchers and some dings and nicks which I left as I wanted it to retain its character.
pretty happy with the result.
