1929 Ford Van
After the Reading train I needed something that wouldn't tax the brain so much plus I just really like these 3 and 4 day builds.
I will be making some spoke wheels so may take a little longer to figure them out.

Yes top marks Bruce for doing another FORD truck....Ford-logo.jpg
I'm sure the timber in your shop must quake in its boots seeing you coming as it's either a toy/model or sawdust too sweet....
Cheers, Peter

Working on roof and wheels.
Spent most of the day figuring out and making wheel parts using my tread making jig.
I had wondered if it would get the job done, never having tried this before but just had to cut the base a little smaller so it would fit under the Shop Smith in drill press mode to get the wheel blank centered.

Then made up the roof and got it in place.

Got the wheels under control, then on to the fenders.
I used a 1/4" oak dowel for the spokes, if I make any more will go a tad smaller just wanted to stay way from tooth picks as they don't seem to take stains very well.

I think I'll just go back to my other style spoke wheels I like the look a lot better.
But I need to use something besides tooth picks as they don't take stain and are way to white.
I just make the rims with what hole saws I have so it limits my rim choices.

I guess I really should start making my own dowels for spokes they don't need to be very long so should be no problem just need to figure something out.
