    Default 1930's Fire Engine

    Hi All,

Found these pictures of a Fire Engine that rolled out of the workshop a little while back now.

Made from a free plan from Aschi's Workshop, using 51mm (2") single tread wheels and 54mm Axle Pegs from WoodenJoys (where the plan is also available for free download).

    The fire engine measures approx. 31cm (L) x 10cm (W) x 10cm (H).

All parts are made from a mix of pine and plywood, with birch hardwood wheels and axle pegs. All finished in non toxic acrylic paint and varnish.

For those interested, WoodenJoys is holding a 10% off sale this Easter Long Weekend - whilst stocks last (no rainchecks) check website for details.

While the painted fire engine does look good..... I still prefer the natural timber look....
