Great result Crowie!!!
I particularly like the wheels with the way you have done the treads.
Must have been a darned fiddly job to put those layers of poly on!!

Peter your Monster truck came out great! Much better than mine. I love all the personal touches you have added to it and you normal way of arranging all the different grains. I may have missed it. What is your next project going to be?

Thanks Brett but as I've said, I've used you insights into strengthening the build design.
The next projects will be in the form of a request from Tracey to make a few Monster trucks for fund raisers at the Boys & Girls Club.
This lot will not be as fancy as the Ford but somewhere between the Pallet Challenge Monster Truck and the Ford.
What's been happening in Texas, I hope you are settling into the new house, making it home along with sorting the garage into another first class workshop shed.
Cheers, Peter

Thank you Kryn for that very generous offer; your wheels look so much better than mine which I cut on the table saw with a dado blade set.
I'm struggling to accept such an offer as the trucks I was considering to make would not justify your quality of wheels.
Let me think on it sir; BUT THANK YOU.
Cheers, Peter

Hi Peter,
I'm offering to do them as it's going to a very worthy cause. You always put in your best in what you do, so I thought the wheels would make them just a little bit better, and people will think they're getting value for the money and buy more.

Kryn, Then sir, I would be truly honoured to receive a few sets of wheels from yourself to use on the monster trucks for the Boys & Girls Club fund raising effort...
That is truly generous of you, thank you.
You are one of the blokes along with a number of others whom I've appreciate getting to know though the forum, people you give time, expertise and know-how to assist other.
I have and continue to be so thankful for the forum and hope to always be able to "pay it forward" as part of such top folk as other have done for me....
I've added the clubs website address below for you have a look at when you have time...Cheers, Peter

Hi Peter,
How many are you looking at doing and what sizes would you like?? Glad to be able to help with a bit of fund raising even if it is indirect. I see on the link that they do WAG, I was good at that when I was school aged. 20 minutes after the school bus was gone, instant recovery,
We lived 10 miles away from the school, and the bus only came in the morning to pick us up, and in the afternoon to drop us off.
Regards

Again THANK YOU Kryn for your generous offer...very much appreciated!!
Would you mind doing 3 sets at the same size as the last lot which are on this monster truck, thank you...
Look at what a local mate gave me today...looks like the cabin of a monster truck almost already made for me!!
Looks like Cypress Pine, but what the offcuts are from I have no idea....
Cheers, Peter
