    Default 1950's Jag

    Hi Guys

    A 1950's Jag that I made recently
Another plan out of the group of 4 cars that came from toymakingplans.com in the US.

Bit of a mixture of timbers in this one.
The lighter main body timber is Poplar, the thin side piece that goes up to the windscreen is Aussie Hardwood and the darker sides are New Guinea Rosewood.
The grill is a piece of blackwood that I had to compound cut on the scrollsaw. I have never done this before, so was a bit worried it would break. Worked out ok.
The lighter timber on the outside is Poplar.

Very well done!. I like your crisp cuts, smooth finish and choice of timbers.
