Default 1963 MK II Riley Elf

    DSCF4179.jpgDSCF4176.jpgIMG_0739.jpg1963 MKII Riley Elf.
I was wandering around in Bunnings a while ago, purchasing some dowel for the diggers I think, when Trevor approached me and asked what I was making. I explained what I do and gave him a card, and low and behold if I didn't get a message the next day saying he loved my stuff and could I make him a replica of his first car, the riley elf. He explained it had to have a British racing green roof and an aerial on the right hand side. So this was my attempt, it's made from Norfolk pine and Poplar with a Austin Martin British racing green roof. The other two are the spares, one is earmarked for Canada and the other I hope to leave on display at the local AA.

EU Holden on the cards, along with x-wing fighters, more diggers, dump trucks and a Lincoln continental..

He looks well pleased with the end result, and no wonder as the build quality is just great
