It’s nearly there,
I never thought I’d get around to building the truck out in the drive way but it’s pretty close with a few custom extras.
I still need to come up with some wheels and finish sanding.
O! And add some axles. LOL
I know some don't understand why all the pictures but I have nearly as much fun blogging the build as building them,
plus down the road I'll be able to look back and see how I did something that may help in a later build. An Index Of My Model making Blogs on Lumber Jocks.

Wow. Just... Wow.
One minor thing... you must be holding the plans backwards: the steering wheel's on the wrong side.

Yeah, I would agree with you. Steering wheel should be on the right side. But it is on the correct side.
Body looks great. Perhaps make the axles and four car stands or bricks. The wheels have been nicked!
Enjoying watching the build. Another vehicle for the car carrier perhaps?

HandyJack I did make a car carrier a while back may need it if I can't get these wheels made soon.
It was easier to copy the whole post than pick out just one picture and post it.
Hope you enjoy them I sure had a ball making the hauler, there’s just something about getting in that creative frame of mind to make something that’s new at leased to you at the time. Here's the blog.

On the steering wheel issue; you on the top side of the world view things upside down to us on top downunder, Sort of like a mirror reverse

I’ve got two, 5 hour days in these wheel.
I was going to make two to match a set I had made earlier but they had 5 spokes per wheel and a 4Runner needs 6 spokes to get it right and it always pays to make an extra in case something goes wrong so I just made a set that will match up.
Plus their a little wider got to love wide tires. LOL
Now I need to make some axles and all should be about done, or at least as far as I’m going with it.
I really hadn't planned on putting this much work into the truck, was going to be an experiment but once you get started it's hard to stop.An Index Of My Model making Blogs on Lumber Jocks.

Bruce, we can be our own worst enemy BUT the results in this build as many others that have come out of your workshop is EXCELLENT!

Yet another fantastic model.

You are like many of the model toy makers here there is no second best so you just can't help yourself and will not let your high standards slip.

Hi htl
Will you share the secret of size and spacing of the grooves in your tyre (tires) sections. I can only use a skew's pointy end to scratch a continuous line around the outside.
Thanks
