    Back on to the job.....

    9A159FD1-F3C5-4D4A-8D17-4C56B19BE647.jpg

Windows and sills all finished and ready to be ‘sent out’ for painting. Front door, roof and heliport to be done but can’t get on to those until the main painted assembly is returned. It’s good to be back in the shed!

The temperature has finally dropped a little and so I’ve got some more time in the shed! The main body was returned painted and so a trial fit of the windows, a gabled roof added and the front door started. I’m pleased with the design and, much more importantly, so is the new owner....

I saw this Doll's House yesterday and it looks terrific - just what a little girl would love I reckon!

No, but when the Barbie house went ‘home’ to be painted, Batman was found next morning in the swimming pool WITH Barbie!

I’m pretty much done! Other than a few ‘adjustments’, my part of the work is finished and it can go to its new home for final painting and (hopefully) enjoyment.

Barbie has already given it her approval....

    F9B9969B-70AA-476D-A483-BE2B931CABD4.jpg

.... and, should that camp, modern portrayal of Batman wish to visit her again, the heliport is suitably marked on the roof ...

It was a pleasant diversion from my normal woodworking fare but I hope it has gone to its new home by the time my own grand urchins visit next weekend?

A job well done and I can see many hours of play in that house by the new owner. Great job
