Does the saw have the universal motor inside or a normal motor out the back with a belt drive?

The finished truck looks great Bret and will wait for the others to be completed, they look nearly identical to the one I just made but with out the sleeper cab.

6 years doesn't it fly when you are having fun. Can't wait to see what scale model you will be doing next any clues or is it a case of wait and see

Thank you for all the support Peter. You are right there has been alot happen in the past 6 years. Even on this forum many from that year are gone and there are a bunch of new.

Thank You Dallas. No plans. Just an idea in my head. Glad you enjoyed it. The saw has the motor out the back. A 1 1/2hp 220v. If anything it is the best part. A new one would run over $200.

Thank You Derek. It is a model of a Mack Superliner from the early 80's. Though the author of the book is English(same author who wrote the plans for the Scania I built) he seemed to be very fascinated with American Big Rigs. As far as the next scale model. I am torn between a 1987 F90 MAN cabover, Land Rover V8 or 1956 Mack B 61. Maybe I should take a poll.

Yes Bret, A number of new toymakers/model makers who are contributing to make this part of the forum enjoyable, though I'm personally sadden when folk either leave or just don't post anymore as we need to share and encourage people to have a go and enjoy this type of woodwork. The skilled, knowledge and knowhow of past folk was so valuable to getting me started and then keep going. Wooden toys last but the joy of making them is just the beginning; seeing children smiling, playing with them is great. Cheers, Peter
