Thumbs up Need another car for my train set a Caboose

Found me a really old cute caboose to add to my train set.
This will be a scratch build out of green poplar with cherry accents.
Here's the picture I'm going by to build it.
I printed the picture then enlarged it so that the wheels were 1 1/2", this will give me all the info I need to build the caboose and get it to match my train set..

Here's what I got done today.
A good start to a fine finish I hope.

Looking good certainly not giving the glue time to set on the last one. I really like the design you have chosen for this carriage.

After a day on the rails with the seat beside the fire, I am watching this build.

Just my work for the day.
I really hadn't planned to fix up the inside but once I got playing with it couldn't stop myself. lol

I found a use for those odd panels I made.

And couldn't stop with out a look at it with wheels.
The poor tender may never get his wheels back, I keep putting them on some thing else, but once I get in wheel mod I'll fix that.. LOL

he more I look at it the doors are to small so may br redoing them, but the plan was for one open one closed.

You can buy small hinges THIS is from a shop here in the UK but you will need to see if there are any dolls house accessory shops near you.

If I do make it movable I'd probable use pins for the hinge, down through the door jam and into the doors.
