Container semi trailer WIP.
Hi,
Started making a container semi trailer. Here are a couple of WIP photos. Wheel assemblies aren't glued on yet. I think the front wheel assembly doesn't quite like right. I have got a bullbar to go on it and some doors and a ramp. Am donating it to a local child care centre to raffle. The whole rig is about 1 metre long.
Thanks for looking.
Todd.

Tks guys. More photos are coming Crowie. Good ideas digger - I think I will put a thicker chassis between the front wheels and put a curved mud guard as well as the diesel tanks you suggested.

Completed Container Truck
Hi,
I have finished the truck. Is looking pretty good. I took digger's advice and put some tanks between the front and rear wheels. I made the tanks out by using a holesaw to cut disks and then gluing 4 together with a piece of dowel in the middle. I also put wheel arches over the front wheels. The proportions definitely look better.
I have attached numerous photos.
Thanks for looking.

update to truck.
Hi,
Have made a racing car and a ramp for the container truck. Completes the package I reckon.

G'Day Todd,
That's certainly come up good and strong, PLUS a race car too, wow, well done.
I like the simple construction of the semi, you've done yourself proud on the design.
One thing I've found with youngsters is I have had to upgrade the axles to 5/16"dia [8mm] to prevent the step on or sit on accidents.
Cheers, crowie
PS - Looks dry at Charleville; I suppose like the rest of Queensland that needs rain....
