    Default Turned Dolls House Ornaments

    Turned Dolls House Ornaments

In January we had a week with my mum in Brisbane; she gave me a gift from a friend of hers who's husband used to woodturn all sorts of thing....

This lot are miniature ornaments for a Dolls House; the patience and quality of the craftsman can been seen in the attached photos; for me it's just WOW & WOW!!

I have met and seen some clever turners on the forum like Dave, Ian, Alan, Dave, Pat, Derek to mention a few but none seem to do this sort of work.

    Cheers, crowie

WOW that is fine craftsmanship, smallest things I've ever turned, were several small goblets for a church children's play thing, and they were 6 mm tall.

So is your next project a doll's house to put them to good use? I don't enjoy turning such small things.

Only if and when we gain a granddaughter which isn't on the cards....beside Dallas with things this cleverly made they'd have go into a display dolls house not a play toy...Peter
