farm truck
Hi all just thought i'd show the farm truck i built , it was going to be a xmas present for mu 3 year old grandson , but by the time i finished it , i realised he would have it broken in no time, so i built him a semi trailer that he could throw around and not break, xmas day saw him sitting on the back, anyway the farm truck is made of pine and the wheels are cedar, and its finished with a couple of coats of wipe on poly, I found a plan on the net some where and printed it for free, I made a few improvements on the way. The semi had to be green [ his favourite colour ] I have included a couple of pics also,

G'Day "waterlogged",
What a beautiful Farm Truck sir....THANK YOU for the WIP photos of the build, you certainly put a lot of time & effort into the truck..
On little boys with wooden toys, I think the semi trailer is the go, good honest strong wooden toy with simple design that can be repaired...
Please keep the projects coming....Cheers, crowie

Great job on both and there is a lot of detail and work in that farm truck. Good thinking keeping it from the 3yo as I could see it broken in a few minutes and no one would be happy.
