I have just finished the American Fire Truck from Toys and Joys plans measures 31" X 7" X 7 1/2" and with the ladder extended in the raised position 36" tall. Main woods Sapele and Beech with others thrown in for good measure. I don't believe in buying wheels and other pieces if I can turn my hand at making them much more pleasure that way.

Thank you guys. I now need to get this weekend out of the way as I am out demonstrating woodturning with our club. The I was going to build a Rolls Royce next well I still may but I have just been asked to make a horse drawcart of some type. Which could be a blessing as I was given this little lot on Tuesday night. Some of the wheels are plastic but give me a better idea to make my own. I also was given a pile of plans which I need to sort through some of which are for carts
