Default Now it is my first helicopter

Well I thought I might mimic Fozzy's tank, but a short phone chat with my little grandy soon changed that. It was to be a helicopter. I had no idea where to start so put pencil to paper, made a couple of sketches and went from there. It must have a "propeller" that turns and must have "cammo" paint was the design brief. I joined three bits of 19mm pine and then did the shaping. Quite a bit of work for the drum sander on the drill press but they sure do make life easy. I used 3/16 thread glued in with araldite for the rotor axles and the nylock nuts should make it easy to replace a blade should they get damaged in battle. The rear rotor is simply a couple of paddle pop sticks glued together. I hope I met the brief OK.

Very good "newqlder", you've done a first class job on the chopper.
Simple design, top paint work & thought ahead, were little boys are concerned.
The grandson will have hours of fun and you'll properly get a few orders.
    Keep up the good work.
    cheers, crowie
