    G'Day Fozzy,
That looks like a great project for your imagination.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
    Cheers, crowie

I remember Monogram model kits. I found them one of the hardest to assemple. My favorite kit was AMT. ANd was there one that started with R like Revell of something. What were the other brand names? I use to have a lot of model cars from those kits when I was young.
I have never seen something like you are going to build in any kit I had but that was back in the 50's-60-'s

Coming along Fozzy. Just out of curiousity how hot is it in your shop right now? My thermometer in my garage says 112* outside and 93* inside. Way to hot for my blood.

How I cool or heat my workshop
It has brick walls on 2 sides and fully insulated walls on the other two.
The door in pic has poly stryene foam sheet .Think 50mm thick glued to it and vinyl draft strip screwed to the top and sealing on brickwork.
The second pic shows a ceiling fan that is used on mild days .In the left hand top of pic is my 7.5KW reverse cycle Air Con.Do I love it?
Nice conditions all year round now.The old TV must go shortly as they will be turning off the old analogue signal soon.
Good story to tell the boss that I will have to get a new LCD for garage
P.S. Fozzy, where are you going to get a band small enough to fit in the back of your truck,as in pic

My better half knows better than that, so all I was allowed was a $50 set top box...
