looking for plans wooden puzzle
Does anybody know how to make one of these disappearing penny puzzles? Looks pretty easy to make once you know how it's done.
Thanks.

Is this the one where you put a coin in and close it up, then push a pen thru the small hole and it goes all the way in (thru the coin)? If so I could tell you how it works as I have a plastic version of it. If not then I don't even know what the spiel is for this trick.

how about telling us how it works, anyway. Maybe we could start a collection of wooden puzzles and how to make them

OK, ignore the 2 top pieces you see.
The bottom block is 3 slices. then cut 1/4 inch around 3 sides of the middle slice. with the opening at the back. That screw on the left, need a slot in the middle slice middle part (that you cut out) so the middle inside slides out the back past the screw. Glue bottom, the U shaped middle layer and the top back together. Put the coin in the middle, tilt it so the middle slide comes out the back covered by your hand and then push a pen thru the hole (and out one on the bottom as well, Take pen out and then tilt forward to move coin back into position. Does that make sense or do you want me to take pics of the plastic one I have. Its not the same trick as the printout attached above but also a good one.
