    Please show us the build of the Tow Truck. While I do not expect you to knock it out in a week, your words and images might provide inspiration to cause perspiration on the masses.

    Due to popular and overwhelming demand (3 out of a squillion) I will post the build of the Model T Tow Truck. However, since the only real difference between the Fire Truck and the Tow Truck is the rear, I will concentrate the build notes and Pics to the differences / rear (you know what I mean!).

    Day 5 (I think). Building the Model T Tow Truck.
    Step 1. Build the basic cab / chassis, same as for the Fire Truck.
    Step 2. Build the tow thingy. Three parts, two sides and a smaller centre piece. The winch is straight forward but I have opted to include a simple captive pin to stop the winch from unravelling.
    Step 3. Fit the tow thingy to the basic cab / chassis.
    Step 4. Add a set of wheels and a lid to the toy, make a hook (I will be shaping a hook out of gidgee rather than a piece of bent wire as suggested in the Plans), oil and attach hook and winch cord.

    Step 4 will be completed tomorrow and I will then post Pics of the finished and oiled Tow Truck and Fire Truck, together with their siblings, a Ute and a Coupe.

    Some Pics of the finished toys. I have included a Pic of the T & J Model T which I have just finished as well, for comparison. The toys are solid beasties which hopefully won't break on their first outing.

    They look really well made and the finish is first class. Could easily be sold in a specialist toy shop, but that's not most of us do it for.
