    You got me Paul, I thought the little blue bloke was in the shed resting while the rain cleared.....
    He's in big trouble if I find out he nicked off for a quick holiday in Washington State and didn't take me....
    Besides he hasn't got an Aussie Passport, as he snuck into Australia via the postal system....

    His picture showed up on the internet on the MSN News site. He certain wasn't in Washington state, we don't have Palm Trees. He may have been on some planet of very little people. Or maybe he had a very big head from drinking too much.

    Well, Handy is still missing....

    If he's not in Washington State with Paul, but was caught on MSN News in somewhere with palm trees..who knows where he is??

    He was MIA when I did the repair/reglue on the 4 dining room chair.....

    He's even missed on on the photo shoot of the completed project....

    Anyways, I've finished off my Peterbilt with a drop-deck trailer which has been built by a Peter....lol...

    I put 5 coats of clear gloss polyurethane on the truck over a few days and its come up a treat...

    The "Blackheart Sassafras" really jumps out against the contrasts of the other timbers....

    I've spent some 60hrs on this project....

    The rig is 1110mm long x 165mm wide x 180mm high....

    The plan was based on the Tractor & Trailer in the Wood Magazine Construction Series with scaling and modifications to reflect the Peterbilt in the photos I received from a good friend, Richard in Melbourne.

    It's been modeled on this beautiful big black 1988 Classic 379 Peterbilt with sleeper which had visited Richards work place a few times, plus I'm sure that I've seen the same truck driving down the Great Western Highway on the Lower Blue Mountains....

    The keyring and dog tags I bought from the Peterbilt shop in the USA have been added for number plates front & rear.

    The grandson's will be here on the weekend to give the truck a test drive but I'm sure it's been built for much play so no problem there.

    Thank you one and all for the help & assistance plus fun we've had along the way, it really helps make the project even more enjoyable.

    Well done Peter a great build I am sure the grand son will give it a great workout and enjoy every minute of it and that is all the reward that you need.

    As for Handy it looks like he is getting a bit big headed he now thinks he is a celebrity next stop Hollywood (or should that be next build out of Holly Wood)
