Red Hot Fire Engine
Red Hot Fire Engine painted blue....
A friend from Gymnastics who has been helping me with video editing and selection of a new laptop asked if I would make a blue fire engine in timber for his nephew as a Christmas gift.
Also my friend offered to pay me for the wooden toy but after all the assistance he'd given me, it was my pleasure to make the fire engine for him, though the blue has mucked me up somewhat.
The plan is from an old 1991 magazine.
The toy is about 12" long x 4.5" wide.
Took a little more time and effort that first thought looking at the plans and of course I've personalized it.
Cheers, crowie

Well Done Peter,
Looks really good.
Handy could be the driver.

You certainly whipped that one out quickly Crowie. You might start a colour scheme change for fire brigades around the world.
Great job and I'm sure he will be impressed.Dallas

Wow, what a great toy. I like the way the ladders can come off and the other one flip over.
No doubt Handy had a hand in the colour choice.
