Well Done Col. You have a happy little customer there. I understand all the doweled joints as you said. My youngest is very hard on the toys I make him. I have found that even dowels don't work sometimes. Hopefully your grandson is not as rough as my son.

Great picture Col thanks for sharing with us. I know when my boys are out in the shop with me I sometimes don't get as much work done as I would like but I would much rather have them out there with me!

Default For thoes that can remember

For those that can remember here are some more pictures of the road grader if you have followed any of my posts you may know that I have been having a larger shed being constructed and have also made some cars and trucks for my men’s shed along with a quick road grader for the youngest grandson to get him off my case for a while.
    .
There are other personal issues that have been going on in the back ground that some of my friends may know about! But there just life issues that we all deal with from time to time and all is ok there.
Not much has changed I am still going forward with the grader and will not embarrass myself by forecasting a completion date. But any suggestions on a retarding agent for adhesive longer than four to six weeks would be appreciated stay safe and have a happy and merry Christmas and may your spell check never embarrass you. LOL

    G'Day Col,
All things considered you've done well, you made it back in the OLD SHED and have done some more on the grader.
    Cheers, crowie

    Default Fantastic

Fantastic stuff you make. I wish I could do that. My grandson is now four and a half, and also very interested in anything I make. Are you making the road graders with a plan or do you use photo's of the real graders?
