    Default 60%, 195h, 2.8kg

So far my notes shows that I've done 60% of whole planned build, model total weight is 2.8kg and hours spent in making are 195.
It took a while to dismantle it, now back together

    Default Photo-shoot in Kerry, Ireland

Wanted to share these cool pictures with everyone on here from last weekend. Visited my friends studio in Kerry and took my half finished Quattro with me. As usual he does great pictures. So here it is, Quattro build before coating on interior and exterior. Have to say that at this moment as I type interior and exterior of car looks completely different, as it's already coated and more work is done.

    Default rear lights, side vent

Never made lights with shape like on this Audi model, so figured out this method. Carved shape of desired lights. Robbed off plastic from flowers packaging. Used heat source from 40W halogen light to heat and wrap carefully plastic around carved wooden shape. Once that was done used solderer to melt further edges. Then created inner frame from individually cut wooden pieces then glued together on inside, then painted frame black. Frame was made in order to have plastic stay firm. For side vent used system as seen in picture. Used disc to cut straight lines on wooden piece to replicate vents. Move wooden piece forward and back while disc spinning, created perfect cuts, as seen in pictures.

I came to post about my latest humble project (dolls cradle) and was blown away by this thread. Magnificent work. I will post anyway. We have to cater to all levels of skill.
