    Default Tools

    Some of you who have visited Dave TTC's thread on kids woodworking will have seen these.
    I made these a couple of weeks ago after watching a video on Youtube. He has a link to the templates on his site for most of the tools and the others you need to use your own imagination.
    For scale the toolbox is 300mm long. I will probably make some more getting closer to Christmas for charity.

    You'll be starting early with that lot Dallas, a whole heap of work BUT WOW so worthwhile to get the kids interested in woodwork....Top one sir, cheers, peter

    A very nice tool set for some youngster to get the idea.

    You are however missing a plane

    How about one like I made in this picture. I even added a glue bottle

    That's a very classy set Derek. Might have to add a Block Plane to complete the set.

    It is the same size as a block plane so I just laid it on the wood on it's side and traced around and made two sides from there it is just a case of adding the inner pieces. There are six pieces of wood altogether
