    Default Non toxic paint, safe for infants

    Hey,

    I've got a little 7 month old and she's finally starting to take an active interest in some of her toys.
    I'm in the process of making her some rattles, and would love to paint them.

    I've seen milk paint and chalk paint might be of use, but they're pretty expensive.

    What paint is everyone using to paint their toys?

    I've used "raw natural coconut oil" for teething rings;

    but this info may help too....

    Thanks.
    The coconut oil gives a nice finish.

    I have plans to create a teething ring/rattle so some bright colours would be preferable.
    From what I've read Water based acrylics with a couple of clear coats should do the trick.
