Some great looking cars the first lot look like they are for the slightly older child. All of them are well made and painted

The first ones are are for high school buddies of mine and were their first cars a long time ago 1974. I still have 2 more to do but my memory is failing me as to the year and model of theirs and I am running out of time. I have called other friends and they can't remember either and I hate to just guess so I'm going to have to talk to their wives and i'm guessing all they will be able to tell me is the color.wish me luck.

A really good collection there Kevin!!

Who do you reckon has more fun - the recipients, or you as you make them??

You certainly haven't been wasting time or idle in the shed Kevin.....
What a beautiful array of cars you've built sir....
They are just the prefect gift.......you're a good friend...
I got my first car in 1973 & was nearly wiped out later that year, right place at the right time, thank you for prompting our memories too...
Are they all your own design?
    How big are they please?
    Cheers, crowie...

PS - Good one asking the wives, as they have a way of prying info from us blokes without us realizing....

    PSS - More photos please!!!!

Well I know the kids love to get them and I like making them and the ones for my buddys I get to thinking about the good old days and hoping to put a big smile to their faces and bring back old memories of good times gone by.

The three small ones in the front row I saw on pintrest and sized them to my liking I liked size of the one with the wind blown roof so I just changed up the roofs for the others . the bodies were 1 1/2 by 2 1/2 by 7 1/2 and the roofs were 1 1/8 by 2 wide cut to various shapes and put store bought 1 1/2 wheels on them. For the bigger cars I go here The-Blueprints.com - Blueprints - Cars and find the car I want and resize the image so the wheels come out to 1 1/2 inch and most of those cars have been about 3 1/2 by 1156 chevy 4 door.jpg

G'Day Kevin, Is the blue on a charger?
But I have no idea on the other??
Saying that, all of them look great and I'm sure will be the centre of conversation, especially after the beer loosens the tongues...
    Cheers crowie

The white one is a 1964 pontiac catalina and the blue one is a 1968 chevelle. Now I might have to make one for myself a black 1965 chevelle

My apologies Kevin but 1960's American Muscle Cars are something I still need to learn about....
From the google search, good ones, restored or hotted up fetch good money....
The 1965 Chevelle SS looks a cool car.....Cheers, Peter
