Sorry it's taken so long to get back to this thread, I'd lost the drawer with the tooling. The back had come off and the drawer was pushed right back in, consequently couldn't see it. I did try it and seemed to work OK, just needs a bar on the opposite side to even the balance up, as it vibrated quite badly.
Can you send me some details of the wheel you'd like to make and I'll do you a tool and cutter?

Timber for wheel cutters
Hi ,
I've been using the wheel cutters for 25 years.
The best timber I found was Kwila. Smooth finish and little to no sanding. Good colour for a wheel.

Recently I've been using Camphor Laurel. But only the red wood as the whiter part of the timber is too soft.
It gives good contrasting colour and the finish is smooth. Very little sanding required to finish the wheel. It's also easy on the wheel cutter as it's not a very hard wood.

I've only come across two profiles here in Australia like the ones in the original post.
This site has a few different profiles. Note the flat back on the wheel.
