    Default VW Beetle Convertable and Kombi Van

    Hi Guys

    A VW Beetle Convertable and Kombi Van that I made recently.

    These were made at 200% size which allowed the inclusion of the windscreen on the beetle. Plans from toymakingplans.com
    The original size is quite small, so I thought I would go bigger. Wheels are 1.5 inch to give you a scale.
    The last picture shows the 50's Jag, which has the same 1.5 inch wheels, next to a beetle made at 100% scale, which has 3/4 inch wheels

    Timbers are Poplar for the lighter timber and Tassie Blackwood for the Darker timber.
