Zombie Apocalypse
So I'm watching a series called the walking dead on AMC..It got me to thinking, what would I need to survive with my family. Guns, lockable window covers.winch,a support vehicle to to go into towns for canned goods,a plow or blade to run their dead bodies over.I know this is weird, but I'm a little strange

Essentials In this order.
Compressed air operated nail gun. the longer the nail it will fire the better. Framing gun may be best. To ward off any attacks.
Metal detector to detect nails so you can extract them from the corpses before moving on to the next step.
Band saw to resaw the bodies.
Thicknesser to reduce the bodies to sawdust consistency. Any good bits. put to one side before thicknessing.
Powerful dust extractor to get rid of the "sawdust"
Lathe. to turn any of the good bits you put to one side before thicknessing and make them into pens.
Thats all I can think of at the moment but I am sure there will be other great suggestions from other forumites.Reality is no background music.
Cheers John

I thought about this and you may want to make sure that armored truck is a diesel so you mod it to run off of vegetable oil.
Also, unless you reload your own ammo a 9mm is a must because it has enough power and any marksman worth his weight in an apocalypse knows 9mm will be the most available ammunition on the planet.
And don't forgot to outfit yourself with a decent fermentation set up. An apocalypse would be miserable without beer!
