    Default G'day

    G'day Woodworkers forum.
I joined the forum for two reasons:
I want to do some more woodworking, I have always been a meddler of wood but not really applied myself to it.
Of late I have accumulated a few tools which leads me to my second reason:
I purchased an old Paul Call BS4.12.72 bandsaw, it is in good shape, it was in use by "The Men's Shed" here in Canberra until they were given a new one. I bought it but it didn't come with a blade. while hunting down the info on the blade I came across this forum (nice work).
(if anyone knows what length the blade is I would be grateful).

I do a bit of metal work also, have a sew tools along with a long history of cars, bikes ad pretty much anything that i can pull apart, restore or modify

    Thanks for letting me in

    Cheers
    Carl

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Carl".
There are quite a few members in Canberra and around the Southern Highlands with a stack of members in Sydney area plus the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
On the Bandsaw blade question, may I suggest a new thread in the bandsaw or general subsection to gain a wider audience and thus more likely to get your question answered.
There seems to be a good few threads on the forum...

    Enjoy the forum.
    Enjoy your woodwork......
    Cheers crowie

Try to keep warm while all the hot air is out of Canberra....maybe they could recall parliament to assist in warming up your winter.
