Default G'Day from across the Tasman

G'Day all,

I'm a hobby woodworker with a few completed projects done and dusted, but plenty more in the works. I have a progress blog here: projectitis

My latest completed projects are a double-gate for the driveway and a TV cabinet, both made of Macrocarpa.

My current project is a home-built electric scooter with a laminated, curved fairing (bendy ply and thin birch ply/aircraft ply). I've just test-driven it (see the blog for details, or attached image for a quick preview).

I don't get as much time for woodwork/projects as I used to due to my 2 year old son taking a lot of time. Not that I'm complaining

Cheers!
Peter

Thanks people. Great to see such a large community, alive and kicking. These traditional arts are not as popular as they once were, so really good to see this.
