    Default G'day from Central Queensland

    Morning All,

    Just joined your forum. Hoping to learn much and contribute a bit too if I can.

    A bit about me. for my sins I've spent 30 years in mechanical maintenance. Out of necessity I built a 60sq metre timber framed extension to my last house including hardwood sub-floor, secret nailed cypress floor, and Kwila staircase. I also built the extension to this place but I cheated on this one. The extension is based on a 3 bedroom steel framed kit house.

    ive just bought a Willys Whippet for my next project.

    Welcome to the forum. Not quite sure what 'Central Queensland' means but if you happen upon any of those 'special' inland area timbers feel free to post them for sale here - we love them.
