    Default Hello!

    Hi,

I've been woodturning on and off for two years and I'm now trying to take more time to improve my skills!
Still a beginner so I might look for advice more than giving some...

Currently in Sydney, I'd love to see some Australian woodturning!

    Cheers,

    Marine

G'Day & Welcome to the Great Southern Land and to a top forum "Marine".
There are quite a few members from the EU and the rest of the world with heaps in & around Sydney.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
    Enjoy the forum.
    Enjoy your woodwork.....
Cheers from On Top DownUnder, crowie

PS - Keep an eye out for Sydney area get togethers as it's a great to meet other woodworkers from the area...

    Welcome to the forum.

Might I suggest doing a search on wood turner clubs in Sydney. When I lived in Sydney I used to be a member of the Sydney wood turners guild which have a few affiliated clubs around Sydney. Depending where you are in Sydney you might find a club that is not part of the guild.

Either way enjoy your stay in Sydney.
