    Default Hello from Hobart

Retired and with tons of time in my hands I am looking to starting a project at the end of the year or beginning of 2016.
The idea is to build a teardrop trailer using plywood and perhaps cladding with thin alum sheeting. I like more the wooden look but I am not sure how it will cope with the weather and keeping it pristine without be a slave. ( timber boats come to my mind)
This forum is a fantastic source of information with a great friendly members and I am sure that will assist me with the project.
Because the body will be 3 m long and 1.6 high I would need some help fro you members in how I van join the ply in a neat way among other information

THIS and THIS OTHER designs are close to what I have in mind

    Cheers

    Welcome to the forum.

One of the great resource of this forum are it's members. When you come time to start your build you might want to to a work in progress. Or if this feels like too much pressure then just ask questions as you go along.

I should also add that my friend wanted to make one and asked me to help, but his wife said no where to put it so that is as far as it went.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Art".
There are quite a few members in Hobart area and across Tassie plus the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
    Enjoy the forum.
    Enjoy your woodwork..
    Cheers crowie
