    Default Hello from Sydney Australia

    Hi all,
I'm a retired electronics engineer, and enjoy making things. Currently mainly involving metalwork for a vacuum system project, but the 2-storey workshop I'm doing this in was owner-built by me. In woodwork I'm self taught, and manage alright... mostly. But I'm sure I'll learn a lot here.

Actually I came to be here due to a metalworking problem I have just now. One of those 'don't have the necessary equipment, and also don't know how to do it' things.
Hadn't heard of this forum before (a shameful failure to google, I admit) and someone recommended it. Here: What did you buy today? Post your latest purchase! - Page 151
