    Default Hi from Darwin

Hi Im a 68 year old retired Shipwright (of the old school) For that reason Set Squares and Levels were rarely taken from the tool box.

My reasons for joining the forum are primarily 3 fold
    1) Obviously I will avidly follow all things Boating and add to the discussion where appropriate
    2) I like to keep up to date with new products /tools
    3) Most of my current equipment is out of the ark and thus needs replacing but I'm on a pension so cost is important and I no longer
need to replace to a commercial standard as what I will be doing is of Hobby importance.

Primarily I am more interested in creating/restoring some furniture and home renovating.

    Thanks for having me aboard.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Chris".
I haven't welcomed many members from Darwin but I'm sure there are many along with the rest of the world.
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP photos with build notes.
    Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork or maybe toymaking.
    Cheers crowie
