Default Hi, first post - Northern suburbs Melbourne

G'day all. Found the forum after searching for some dado blades on Google. Tinkering around in the garage making some outdoor stuff and cabinets for the garage workshop.
Just ordered a Baileigh TS-1044H hybrid saw. Might get it next week. It might not be the best out there, but fits in my budget and will do what I want.

Dado blades are pretty much universal, the only thing to worry about in most cases is your arbor size. Some can be 5/8th whilst others can be 30mm. Big variance.

Watch out for this as if you buy a set or an individual blade with a smaller arbor you won't be able to fit it. Larger arbors can be reduced with use of a bushing so not as much of a problem.

With the table saw, see how long you arbor is, this will determine the maximum width Dado stack you can set up.
