    Default Another newbie.....

I've just moved to the country, and am now doing longer shifts less often. What to do with this new-found time? Why, woodworking, of course! I got quite a few tools for Christmas, so to repay the givers, I'm making them a few things during the year. Do I know what I'm doing? No...... but I'm hoping raw enthsiasm will make up for any lack of skill .
I've already had a look at the cutting board threads, seems like a good place to start, so it's off to the shed (never had a shed before!) and down the local mill (26 species of timber!).
Oh, and I have a Coonara, so at least I can build firewood if nothing else....
