Have to post some really positive occurrences lately.

Firstly, Timbecon is a relatively new discovery of mine.
Its a 30 minute drive for me but has some really good service and prices.
The Fastcap stuff is quite decently priced.
And some of the checkout counter top items are well placed, useful, well priced.
A recent order was only $10 shipping.

I picked up a 3 wheel bandsaw without blades for a really good price.
Timbecon didn't have blades to fit but made a suggestion for a custom build supplier.
Not only was it 5 mins from Timbecon, the service there was excellent as well.
They took 5 mins to make 2 blades to fit and cost $18 for one and $14 for the other.

I accidentally left the cover to the band saw there and they were gracious enough to post it to me.
And polite and quick getting it sorted.
They were busy but were really quick sorting us all out.

Ran out of Kreg 1-1/4" course washer head screws.
What a nightmare trying find someone in Melbourne who had them on the shelf.

Nope. No one.

So sick of seeing "available soon"

Found a guy on eBay matching prices and I was happy to pay the extra for shipping.
Either wait for shipment and hope they arrive and get processed soon.

Or pay the extra postage and have them delivered to my door.
No 20 minute drive.

The eBay guy was gracious and smart enough to repack some bulk Kreg screws into 1200 lots.
I ordered two 1200's for $109.

Anyway, I couldn't wait for the 4 to 5 days post so decided to grab some Robertsons square drive screws instead.
Would have to make due.
I contacted Robersons suppliers direcly but the shop is are only open only one day a week. Can't remember which.
But would make an appointment to be there sometime Monday and asked me to ring them then to arrange on the day.
Frak!

Back to Timbecom and since I've been there quite a bit lately they where good to discount Robertsons matching next weeks sale for me.
I just have to remember to ask and be polite about it.
No next weeks sale does NOT include Kreg or Triton, etc.

While he was processing my purchases I asked why Timbecon didn't stock Kreg screws but everything else Kreg.
20 years of stocking Robertsons and Kreg stock NOT being reliable.
No complaints about Robertsons.
No reason to support two different brands.
