Default I added a crane to the trailer

I have 2 of these Lindsell cranes, (from an auction) so a little while ago I did some work to the better of the 2 and got it functioning, then added it to the trailer, will save the old back....the 3rd pic is a 4" thick slab that I would struggle to get onto the trailer without the crane

I had a few ideas on mounting it, from using the original triangular 90° bracket and just bolting it in the corner, to bolting it onto the side, but then I decided to get rid of all of the bracket (came fully welded onto the turret? housing) I cut about 100mm off the length and embeded it into the frame of the trailer, nice and neat in the finish

I also added a brace (in red) (not a real good pic of it)to the top of the jib, it was bent just enough (2 or 3mm) to make the fly jib (I'd guess you'd call it that) not fully return home as easily as it should, I put a 16mm bolt right above the cylinder mount point which I can adjust to provide the tension in the brace to pull the bend out of the jib, the fly slides freely and fully home now.

Ahhh! What luxury, I dream of a tipper on the ute, It would be good if you could do some pics when you get it set up, I have thought that I might setup the other crane on the ute as well as a tipper, maybe oneday if ever ......

I got sick of shovelling stuff off... especially the day it was full of clay and then got rained on... took me an hour at the tip climbing around on a muddy tray.

The hoist should be good too, no need to look around for (un)willing helpers..
    Will post some photos
    Cheers
