Jockey wheel design
Currently building a hand trolley for a tinny, all aluminium and plastic only, and will fabricate a jockey wheel from the same materials. Is there a rule of thumb about how far the centre of the wheel axle should trail the centre line of the spindle?

Here's what I came up with in the end. I got some stainless from the local scrappy and a plastic wheel from the 'toy shop'. Took the bearings out and made bushes and washers from Acetal, the axle is a piece of white delrin too. Only gal for the R clips but will replace them when I find some in stainless.
