G flute
Simso asked about a good instrument to do some learning on, this one might fit the bill.
It's a one piece flute in the key of G (in beefwood) but you could make a two piece just as easily. Also shown are the drills used to make it. There is a lamp auger for the initial straight pilot hole and a 17mm spade bit used to follow the pilot and enlarge it. The nose on the spade bit fits in the pilot hole and stops any wandering. Final bore size was achieved with the extended 19mm twist drill.
