    A bit like Wendell Castle’s earlier work. Nothing new here folks.
    Does the dude who made the video own a bandsaw. (A big bandsaw).
    If we’d done a large laminated pattern like this we’d have bandsawn most of the waste off.
    Then using the 30” disc refined it to suit the templates developed from the layout.
    Using that disc cutter and then the endless sanding spewing Blackwood dust throughout a workshop with other workers would get you shot.
    I doubt if you could hold it to a mm let alone 10 thou.
    Sure hope he doesn’t end up with an allergic reaction to the dust.
    Woodturner mate of mine after years of exposure to Blackwood couldn’t go into his workshop in the end. His tongue would swell up and he couldn’t breathe.
    I guess this is art, what we made was industrial, who would ever make a video of guys making a 10 or 12 foot diameter wooden ships propeller, it’s all magic, things just appear from the bum of a computer.

    Very nice table but all through the video I was thinking about the cost of all that lovely blackwood.
