My biggest piece to date
Hi I'm new here
So thought I would post some pics of table I'm working on at the moment
It's a bit Victorian and bit me a bit creative
I like to use ordinary timber sometimes and just see were I can take it
This one has pine cyrups pine merabue (left over deck)
And some hoop pine veneer on mdf
Not quite finished but close

Thanks for the positive feedback.
Started to finish the top today.
And whoops went through the veneer in one tiny spot near the edge while sanding it .
Was going to try a repair, but thought I would leave it, as a reminder to be more mindful plus didn't have the guts to pull it of successfully.
U live and learn, and I've learnt a lot.
My partner has also said she thinks it 's unreal.
The bar goes higher again.

Hi .06 mm
Ye is not much
I think what happened was that when I was clamping the edge on I was bit offer zealous on one clamp causing the mdf base to crush and denting the veneer just slightly
